Paboo, I don’t have any bad feeling towards Chris, I am just busting his balls. I have invited him on the show to clear the air, but he declined.

Great show. Barring the technical difficulties, it was my favorite show yet. I like the ball busting, keep it up, keeps people from getting complacent.
ps. This forum format tilts the hell out of me and I don’t know why.

I think the OMM do not get the love they could get. I enjoy discussing hands when all of the information is available.
When the OMM’s are posted on their forum, half of the key info is missing. Do they do this because the want people to listen to their podcast to get all the missing info, or is it just laziness. I’ve gone back in a few of these and tried adding the missing info, but to me if you are making the original post, you should supply all the pertinent info yourself, not make others go and research it. It has had the effect of making the discussions non-existent since you can’t make a rational decision based on the information given in the forum.
post whoring btw

rascony, it isn’t your standard PHPBB that most of us are used to, that’s for sure. What is it that you don’t like about it? Tell me and I’ll see what I can do to fix it.
[edit] One thing that I definitely don’t like about it is that it is forced into the layout of the page. I could fix that, but atm am not up for it. Maybe over the 3-day weekend?[/edit]

Hope you didn’t take that as a slight towards you, your doing a great job here. I think it is most likely just the difference from phpbb, so it’ll probably just take getting used to on my end.

Yeah, got it. Subscribed and a good way though the interview so far. So cool to hear Brent and Sean again.
And nice job on the podcast. I haven’t been listening to poker podcasts since Lord Admiral stopped podscasting, but I’ll keep the subscription open and stay tuned during the WSOP.
(Yes, I married Sweet Sweet Pablo in Vegas this December. How did I miss you guys?)
Blaz and myself didn’t know a ton of people out there. I did have the honor of sitting next to PKPNF in the tourney though.

If we didn’t have a podcast war on our hands I certainly think we have a full-on nuclear assault now.

Not at all and thanks. Luckily Blaz is just as competent as I am so he has his hands on the button as well. I am always welcome to criticism and changing a user interface to fit the needs of the user. The easier it is for everyone to use the easier our job is.
Plus, if you missed it in the Podcast… I don’t hate Ante-Up because of the content (however I haven’t listened to a show since the first one after the move), but rather that their site just blows.

If the podcast war is half as successful as the browser war of the 90’s then it will benefit everyone!

Great show, Blaz, Zooks, Loser and Snuffy… really wish I could have been part of this one.
Thanks for the shout out on my GetAStake heater. I’m on my third stake now and running hot still. Be happy to fill in all the details on my next show.

So they’ll become available for free but we’ll be left with the Internet Explorer Pokercast……. and wait couple of years for FireFoxWoods.

Great stuff guys. Only thing I’m missing is what game ur playing and the blind levels (damn my short term memory). If someone could announce the change in blind levels that would be awesome.
Wish I could join you but I don’t think that’s gonna happen for a couple of weeks (June 8 – 7 for you – I hope).
Keep up the good work.

Nick,
If there were a read all new function, it would help. There might be one, and I haven’t found it. I’m late to the party on tech stuff all the time, but I normally catch up just in time for new stuff to come out.
Keep an eye out for Beef, Beer and Poker! OwnTheDream and I will be starting it soon. It’s going to be about stuff you’d talk about at a home game. Everything from Steaks to Stakes. We’re hoping to be the “3rd Best Poker Podcast on the Internet”.

Ok, the result of the supernovas hand…
The question was, ARE YOU GOOD HERE?
Columbo777: calls $89.40 and is all-in
Uncalled bet ($85.55) returned to wltlt
wltlt: shows [4d Qs]
I consider this semi-typical in NLHE (and downright expected in limit). A garbage flop and a lucky connect. He has no business being in the hand and far overplays his TP with an overcard, inexplicably putting me on AQ/AK (perhaps simply because I call and dont raise). His bet makes no sense though, as he cant apply pressure to an overpair here. So, based on his limp call, he is pretending he had aces. (donk)
Alas, even with the best hero calls, you still have to sweat the river.
*** RIVER *** [2d 4s 3d 8c] [4c]
OMG. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
*** SHOW DOWN ***
wltlt: shows [4d Qs] (three of a kind, Fours)
Columbo777: mucks hand
wltlt collected $290.80 from pot
sigh. “Nice hand sir”.
